September 16th - 27th - Steve Phipps, from Animated Canvas in Columbia, South Carolina, will be the guest artist at Permanent Buzz from Sept. 16th-27th. We welcome Phipps back at the shop with open arms and we are looking forward to his return. Phipps enjoys doing many styles of tattooing from color bomb to realism. September 30th - Permanent Buzz is proud to have made a contribution to this year's 3rd Annual Aicardi Syndrome Foundation Benefit Concert. The ASF concert was held on July 19th and was a huge success. We were also involved with helping raise money for last year's concert and we will continue to support this good cause. September 20th, 12-8pm - Permanent Buzz will be holding an art show and sale on September 20th to help raise money for The Alzheimer's Foundation. All of the proceeds raised will be donated to the foundation in memory of John R. Prause, who recently passed from his battle with Alzheimer's. There will be artwork from various artists on display and also for sale. Artwork will be provided by Randy Prause, Robert Mankowski, Jason Carpino, Rob Krase, Steve Phipps (who will also be our guest artist at the shop Sept. 16th-27th) and many other talented artists. There will be custom bikes here on display from North Jersey Customs. All American Bar-B-Que Co. will be providing food and drinks for this event. An art fusion will be done the day of the event with different artists participating throughout the day and the piece will be auctioned off at the end of the night. So please come join us for a fun filled day of events and help raise money for a good cause. We appreciate everyone's support. This will be an all day event from 12-8pm. We hope to see everyone here!

September 12th, 10:00am-4:00pm Permanent Buzz along with Scotty's Automotive & North Jersey Customs will be holding their 1st Annual Drag Day at Island Drag from 10-4. The cost will be $160 per car to run, which includes helmet rental, hamburgers, hot dogs, soda & water. There will be a 20 car max. You must pre register with Randy at Permanent Buzz to secure your spot to race. There is a $20 per person spectator fee, which will include food and drinks. This is a first come first serve basis, spots are limited. We look forward to seeing everyone there. So come join us for what is sure to be a great day of food, fun & racing. We're positive this event will be a huge success and we look forward to making it a tradition.

August 9th - Our very own Randy Prause and Robert Mankowski will be participating in "The Gathering", presented by The Shop. Opening night is Saturday August 9th @6pm. Come see a collection of artwork from fine artists of the tri-state area. July 29, 2007 - Randy Prause and Robert Mankowski will be presenting their artwork at 12 oz. Studios' Rockabilly Art Show Flea Market. The Show will be held on Sunday, July 29, at 116 New Broadway, Brooklawn, NJ. The artists will be showcasing their work alongside Rockabilly-style cars and bikes. August 18, 2007 - The 2nd Annual Aicardi Syndrome Foundation Benefit Concert will be held at the Rainbow Lakes Park and Ball Field on Oakdale Road in Denville, NJ. June, 2007 GUEST ARTIST - Hector Cedillo of Skin Graff Tattoos in Worcester, MA. is going to be doing a week-long guest spot at Permanent Buzz Tattoo. Set up an appointment between June 19 and 23 to get tattooed by this accomplished artist.
This is the first time Permanent Buzz will be hosting a guest spot. Hector is a real nice guy and a talented artist with a distinct knack for horror motifs. Additionally, his range spans from traditional to realistic--so we are confident he can satisfy any of your tattooing needs. We want to make this a great trip for Hector so that he will want to keep coming back.

April, 2007 - Permanent Buzz is proud to welcome the newest member of its family, Robert Mankowski. Robert, a graduate of University of the Arts, has been apprenticing under Randy since October 2006. His extensive technical background in fine arts has added new depth to Permanent Buzz's reservoir of talent. We are looking forward to seeing him start his tattooing career with us.

July, 2007 - Permanent Buzz's Randy Prause will be returning to Mr. Shorty's Tattoo Emporium in Lexington, SC for a second guest-spot this summer. He spent 4 days at Mr. Shorty's last November tattooing some great people as well as fellow artists. This year, he will be working alongside Mr. Shorty's owner, Steve Phipps, from Monday, July 16 through Thursday, July 19. If you're in the area this is your chance to get some killer ink with a jersey flare.

Permanent Buzz will remain open with Patrik Gladmark and Robert Mankowski available for appointments and walk ins alike.

January 1, 2007 - Beginning in the new year, a thirty second Permanent Buzz Tattoo commercial will be aired for thirteen weeks throughout Morris County. You will be able to view it during all UFC fights on Spike, as well as during episodes of Miami Ink on TLC every Tuesday night from 10pm-12am.

December 15, 2006 - Randy Prause has been invited to participate in Hope Gallery's Third Anniversary Galla/Artshow. He will be displaying artwork alongside Julio Rodriguez and Joe Capobianco. November 6, 7, 8, & 9, 2006 - Permanent Buzz will be closed while Randy does a guest spot at Mr. Shorty's Tattoo Emporium in Lexington, South Carolina. He will be working alongside fellow shop owner and artist, Steve Phipps. With a background in a array of media, Phipps has an extensive portfolio and has been tattooing for almost 7 years. September 1, 2, & 3, 2006 - Randy Prause of PERMANENT BUZZ TATTOO will be attending the 14th Annual Inkin' The Valley Tattoo Convention during Labor Day weekend. Accompanying him will be Rob Kraese of THE SHOP in Port Jervis, NY. Sponsored by Marc's Tattooing, the convention will be held at the Ramada Plaza Hotel in Wilkes-Barre, PA. In addition to tattooing and body piercing, the convention will include tattoo contests, various merchandise and memorabilia vendors, as well as performances by Sideshow Gathering--a traveling sideshow troupe. This will be Sideshow Gathering's fifth year at Inkin' The Valley. Events will begin mid-afternoon on Friday and end Sunday evening. June 9, 10, & 11, 2006 - Randy will be participating in Atlantic City's Third Annual Tattoo Extravaganza. It will be held at the Atlantic City Sheraton Hotel, where artists from around the world will be tattooing. In addition, there will be over 80,000 square feet of hot rods and cool bikes. ITA Article - Our very own Randy Prause is featured in the August 2006 issue of the International Tattoo Art magazine. In a section called "Stretching Canvas: Outsider Art at its Finest," Randy is one of three artists whose paintings and tattoos are showcased. A short biography of Randy based on a phone interview starts off the three-page layout dedicated to his wide range of work.

August 13, 2005- We will be attending the first annual Oil and Ink festival which will be held at Bergen County Harley Davidson (124 Essex Street Rochelle Park, NJ 201.843.6930) If you didn't guess, bikes and tattoos will be on display with tattoo contests including best color, black and grey, portraits and so on. The party starts at 10 am. There will be plenty of food and fun.

September 30 thru October 2, 2005- Come to the Biggest Tattoo Show on Earth at the Meadowlands Expo Center (Secaucus, NJ). This surely is a crowd pleaser with booths set up as far as the eye can see. You'll discover all sorts of things you didn't know about the art of tattooing. And of course, there'll be food, live entertainment, shopping and lots of fun! Hope to see you all there!
